Online Award in Awareness of First Aid for Mental Health
First Aid Awards (FAA): In partnership with NUCO. Ofqual regulated.
- A short course of 4 hours, plus an individual assessment of 20 minutes
- Recognise common symptoms of mental ill-health
- Increase confidence in talking about mental health
- Can lead to Level 2 qualification
- The course is £49 per learner. This includes a manual, training, assessment, and an e-certificate valid for 3 years. 10% discount for groups of 5 or more. And an intern/apprentice goes FREE with every paid place.
Note: This course does not entitle participants to be designated First Aiders for Mental Health (see next section)
Level 2
Online Award in First Aid for Mental Health
First Aid Awards (FAA): In partnership with NUCO. Ofqual regulated.
- A 6-hour course, plus an individual assessment of 30 minutes
- A parallel qualification to First Aider for Physical Health qualification
- Trains staff to be qualified First Aiders for Mental Health
- Identify when an employee is struggling
- Learn how to provide support
- Prevent self-harm
- The course is priced at £120 per learner. This includes a manual, training, assessment, and an e-certificate valid for 3 years. 10% discount applies for groups of 5 or more. And an intern/apprentice goes FREE with every paid place.
